The buzz is that Shahrukh Khan is all set to foray into Hollywood with a film titled ‘Xtrme City.’ He will be sharing the screen with Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio in it.
The film is said to be a crime-thriller which will be shot mainly in Mumbai, since the story will revolve around the criminal underbelly of Mumbai. It will be directed by Paul Schrader.
The film screenplay is co-written by Paul Schrader and Mushtaq Shiekh (the screenwriter of Shahrukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om and Ra.One).
SRK is producing the film on his Red Chillies banner in association with acclaimed producer-director Martin Scorsese’s banner Sikelia Productions.
It is learnt that the project was discussed a year ago during the Berlin Film Festival where Shah Rukh had gone for the premiere of his film ‘My Name Is Khan’ while Scorsese and DiCaprio too were there to promote their film ‘Shutter Island.’
